I like this park even though there are things about it that bother me. On this trip we were able to set up face to face with the couple we were traveling with. This gave us a nice area with our awnings almost touching to set up our outdoor area. The sites are short and narrow and with a large fifth wheel the roads are difficult to maneuver around the trees and make the tight corners. One thing that I found strange is that on Columbus Day weekend they required the three days to be charged to your credit card as a non refundable deposit. They also wanted to charge an additional $10.00 to guarantee and hold a specific site for you. Since I was not told of this requirement when I booked and it is not stated anywhere on their website I did not have to pay this fee. This KOA is in a good place to access the Delaware Water Gap and all the attractions nearby. The staff are nice and they will deliver firewood right to your site for you. They had a wonderful pig roast on Saturday night for $8.00 per person and it seemed like the whole campground attended. Wi-Fi is the best that I have experienced at any campground I have been in this year.

I like this park. It is small but the sites are large and spacious. The site hookups are side to side where one unit backs in and one unit drives in. This works well but you are very close on the hookup sides. The playground is old but looks well kept. The grass is meticulously kept. The owners are on site and are typical Vermonters, very, very nice but of few words. Don't take it as being mean, its just the way the oldtimers are. I will stay here again.

Nice friendly staff. Sites are level and grassy. Many seasonals which take up most of the river sites. Wi-Fi is spotty and there is no cable or TV reception. Clean restrooms. The price is right for what you get. We come here to get away from it all. We relax and visit with friends that travel with us. Great dump stations on the way out.

We camped in the Safari Field. I liked this site as we were away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the campground. Our site was large and grassy. Although I-95 was to the rear of the camper we were able to ignore the noise. If you are very sensitive to noises then stay away from this area. We had electric, water and cable and Wi-Fi was great with a strong signal and no extra cost to use. All the facilities were clean and the grounds were tidy. I will definitely return to this campground when I want to stay local.

We camped in the plateau area of the campground: site 145. The site was level and had a spectacular view of the countryside below. The campground has many seasonals which is why I would not rate it a ten. Most of the seasonals are in the wooded, shaded areas of the park. The campground has a nice store and a beautiful pool. On Saturday night they had a DJ and a dance and on Sunday morning a church service all in the pavilion in the plateau area. I felt the rate was reasonable for full hookups but thought that this should include air conditioning which it didn't: extra cost of $3.00 per day. Also, Wi-Fi was not available to us at our site. All in all, we will return as long as one of the plateau sites are available.

I like this campground even though some have called it old, tired and rundown. When we just want to get away from it all, we go to Branchbrook. Yes: the facilities are not the best but the owners are nice and the seasonal people are nice and friendly. If you want the resort style and crowd then yes, you certainly should stay away. If you want a nice quiet weekend then definitely make this a stop on your trip. Nothing at all special about this campground but we like it.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here, each time in a different area of the campground. We have been happy with all four sites. We were in the back section of the campground this stay where they have added pull thru 50 amp sites. Even after a deluge and overnight rain these sites dried out very quickly. I did notice that the tent sites need some work to dry them up more quickly after a rain storm. They were still wet 2 days later. Wi-Fi was good in our section. The owners are terrific and very helpful. They escort you to your site and help you in your position and set up. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful campground for an off season stay. The staff was exceptional and very attentive to our needs. The owner is in the campground and very accessible. Since this was off season and Mothers Day weekend they had a nice buffet on Sunday. Although they had rain for over a week before our arrival the sites were dry. You can see that a lot of work has gone into making the sites long, wide and level. Much work is going on in the big rig area. On Saturday the campground hosted a Kiwanis Kids Fishing Tournament but you would never know that a huge number of people had come into the campground. I will definitely return here to camp in the off season.

Had some initial problems booking a site so that we would be camped next to friends, but that all worked out okay. On our arrival they sent us to 2 sites that were way too small for our 5th and friends MH. Trees overhung area and sites were small. Manager told us that these sites are going to be used in the future as cabin sites. Mgr moved us to sites across from their premium sites and they were very open and level. Be careful when booking the upper area. Sites are not level but it looks like they may be working on them. Nice campground with lots to do for families. Great dog park with agility course. Would like to see sites tidied up a bit but all in all a very nice campground convenient to Plymouth and Cape Cod.

When we booked two sites, we were told that it would be no problem to have them together. I made sure of this with two phone calls prior to our check in because one RV was coming from Florida and one from Connecticut. Upon check in we were told that we were not together and it was not possible to guarantee sites. The staff attempted to accommodate us but was surly and abrupt. The roads in this campground are in need of major work to distinguish them from the campsites. We were told that we should walk the route to our campsite before driving there so we would know where we were going. Major tree removal and tree trimming needs to be done. Many of the trees are damaged due to RV's hitting them. The campsites need to be leveled and graveled. KOA's pet policy was ignored re: breeds allowed and barking dog policy.

We had some problems on initial check-in. We booked through KOA's reservation system and booked a site along the river. When we got there they put us in a new site that is not even on their map. These back up to the large open playing field. Since my reservation confirmation paper from KOA stated that I had a river site, they moved us. Unfortunately, this site had some sewer problems and had backed up recently. The lime around the dump pipe and general area told the story. We did not complain and stayed on this site. On the third day we needed to dump our galley but could not because the dump pipe was plugged. They were very quick to respond on a Sunday evening and fixed the problem quickly. The only other problem I see are the rest rooms. They are old and in need of some general repair. One of the toilets kept clogging up but they said that was going to be fixed. Overall, this is a very nice campground. Large sites that are especially pretty along the river. The staff is nice and attentive to your needs. Please be aware that when you book your site to specify if you want to pull in or back in. If you book a pull in site, you may not be able to get your tow vehicle out.

Good campground for a short weekend trip. Sites are large, level and grassy. Owners are pleasant. Small outdated playground for the children. Many seasonals but all in good repair. We camped here in 2006 also and had no problems.

Nice campground with level spacious sites. The new owners are making many improvements. Bathrooms are clean. No sewer hookups but dump station is accessible and they do have pump out service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed four days and wished we had another four days to stay.

I believe that this campground is now under new ownership and will be open year round. Hopefully the new management will fix the problem at the entrance where it looks like there are two driveways - one of them goes to a private home and the other to the campground. Another problem is the turn into sites 93-102. Very easy to miss and ending up having to make another loop. Sites were fairly spacious, staff friendly, restrooms clean. Two dump stations. Roads were narrow. We stayed after some heavy rains so area was muddy. Not a bad place to stay during the off season. They have miniature golf and a train running during the summer season.

This was a good campground for an off season visit to the NJ shore. Majority of campground are large seasonals. Roads very narrow and sites difficult to get into because of the trees. Would not want to be backing in to these sites on a busy weekend. For our visit at this time of year it was very nice and I would probably return. Sites were spacious once you got your rig in. Campground was clean and staff friendly.

Sites were large and private with gravel and relatively level. Although there was a limit to two dogs per site, the site next door had 3 very large dogs on it, one of which growled and barked at me every time I came out of my trailer. Very busy campground with lots of one night campers. Staff was polite and grounds were kept neat. Camp sites were a mess on Monday morning but by the time that we left at 10 am all the litter had been cleaned up. Each campsite had their own garbage can and it was emptied every day.

We stayed for a week at Gold Brook Campground in a 25 foot travel trailer. The site was large and spacious. The staff was pleasant and the grounds were meticulous. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. We will definitely be staying here again.

Carlsbad KOA campground is a jewel in the desert. It is absolutely the best campground I have stayed in. The staff and owners are incredible. The sites are large and level. The campground is meticulously maintained and the bathrooms are pristine.
